The Stop Online Piracy Act and Protect IP Act sound like a useful thing, doesn't it? Intended to end the infringement of copyrights against artists (primarily in the music and movie industry, from which these bills originated) and "help" defend american citizens from identity fraud (for example), these bills do the exact opposite. These terribly written bills do nothing about protecting citizens from what it claims; if anything, threats are INCREASED. So, as most of my watchers know, I had a baby in September. Little Michael. He and I are both doing well and he goes into daycare for the first time next week since I have to be back at work.
